A LIDO named by many as the "jewel of the town" has been classed as one of the best in the UK.
The Droitwich Spa Lido has been rated among the best after being featured in The Telegraph's top 20 swimming pools and Lidos.
Over the past 100 years, the lido has become Europe's last remaining in-land Saltwater pool and the "jewel" of Droitwich.
Councillor Richard Morris said the entire town is extremely proud of its Lido and all the people who made it such a great venue.
"Our Droitwich Spa Lido is a jewel in our town and a unique offering as one of the last remaining in-land Saltwater pools in Europe," he said
"We are so proud of our Lido and the partnership of Wychavon District Council, Wychavon Leisure, Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido and Little Al’s Cafe, who make it such a great venue."
The number of lidos has diminished across the country as the popularity of inexpensive holidays abroad has grown in popularity.
However, they still make a good go-to place to cool off, as they are only a short drive away from a person's home.
The Telegraph has praised the lido for having lots of space and a children's wet play area.
The lido also comes with sun terraces and a Lido Cafe.
The Telegraph said: "Another modernised pool dating from the 1930s, this one offers lots of space (40-metre pool), a children’s wet play area, sun terraces and a Lido Café.
"Repairs have recently taken place to one of Britain’s last remaining inland, open-air saltwater pools."
The Droitwich Lido has a 4.5-star rating from 250 reviews on TripAdvisor.
