THE owners of a prominent farm shop in Worcestershire have revealed with a "heavy heart" its closure.
Bannuttree Farm Shop and Garden Service in Cutnall Green will close permanently at the end of this month after ten years of trading.
Its owners said the decision was very hard but rising costs made it no longer viable to keep going.
The business will close officially on July 31.
A spokesperson for Bannuttree Farm Shop and Garden Service said: "It is with a heavy heart we have come to the very hard decision to close Bannuttree Farm Shop on July 31, 2024.
"It is not a decision we did not make lightly, but with rising costs, we feel the business is no longer viable.
"We appreciate those that have supported us for the past 10 years and friendships formed along the way we enjoyed every minute but realise with changing times and habits that we can no longer compete."
The plant side of the business is expected to continue under Bannuttree Landscapes, but it will only be open for plants and baskets from Easter 2025 to July 2025.
The spokesperson added: "We will continue with plants under Bannuttree Landscapes and will open from Easter 2025 to July 2025 only (for plants and baskets)."
