A ONE-way closure of a busy road will be in place for under three weeks.
Bilford Road, which leads to Perdiswell Leisure Centre, will be closed until Friday, August 9 while Cadent Gas replaces a gas main.
The road will be closed from Droitwich Road roundabout to Beech Avenue and diversions have been put in place.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council Highways said: "One-way closure of Bilford Road, Worcester, from today until August 9 for new gas main works by Cadent Gas.
"The road is closed from the Droitwich Road direction, and footways remain open."
