FLOODING is on the agenda for the city council’s Environment committee this week.
Councillors are set to debate the disruption caused to Worcester multiple times a year when the River Severn bursts its banks.
Concerns have been raised over the apparent increase in frequency, duration and depth of flooding.
And doubts have been cast over the future of Worcestershire County Cricket Club’s stay at New Road, as the ground was flooded eight times over the winter.
The Environment committee meeting takes place at the Guildhall at 7pm on Tuesday, July 23.
