PLANS to build a two-storey extension on the side of a house in Kingsbury Road, Worcester, have been approved by the city council.
The scheme also includes the construction of a single-storey extension at the back of the house.
The house extensions will provide a large open plan living area, a study and utility room on the ground floor, plus an additional bedroom and bathroom on the first floor of the house, which backs onto Pitmaston Park.
City planners said the works “would not detract unacceptably” from the character or appearance of the surrounding area.
