A Droitwich man has been charged with multiple offences relating to domestic abuse and remanded in custody.

Edward Burbridge, 38, of Doverdale Close, Droitwich, was charged on Wednesday with engaging in controlling/coercive behaviour and three counts of criminal damage to property under £5,000.

He was further charged with two counts of assault by beating, one count of theft from a dwelling and stalking involving serious alarm/distress.

Burbridge elected for a trial by jury and is due to appear at Worcester Crown Court on August 14 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
