Residents in St Nicholas Ward have voiced their concerns following a HMO application made to Worcester City Council.
A planning application has been submitted by the owner of 3 Bolton Avenue for permission to turn the five-bedroom property into a Class 4 HMO.
In a supporting statement made by the applicant, Whitestone Care, the care home company confirms that the property would be used to provide "supported accommodation for people with a range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health problems."
There have since been written objections made to the plans by residents of nearby Auckland Close, following the application's submission on Tuesday, July 9.
One resident wrote: "I am worried about the safety of my children given that some residents may have mental health issues."
Another resident cited the heightened level of vehicle traffic. They wrote: "Likely to increase significantly the number of vehicles in an already busy location."
