A FAULTY carbon monoxide detector prompted an emergency response from fire crews.
The incident happened in Hawkwood Crescent in St John's, Worcester in the early hours of this morning.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said a crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 4.29am to a carbon monoxide detector activating at a house in Hawkswood Crescent, Worcester.
He added: "This was caused by a faulty detector and a gas monitor registered no readings. The incident was marked as pending closure at 4.58am."
