A BURST water main outside the city's hospital saw water jetting out across the street.
The leak occurred opposite Leopard Rise and outside Worcestershire Royal Hospital earlier today (Thursday).
West Mercia Police officers coned off the site initially, and Severn Trent arrived at the leak shortly after.
A spokesperson from Severn Trent said: "“We immediately sent a team after being made aware of a leak from a boundary box on Leopard Rise.
"It’s not causing any issues for customers, and they will be looking to fix it this afternoon, and have everything back to normal quickly.”
A boundary box houses the water meter and acts as a boundary between the water mains and domestic supply.
Jean Houghton, who lives near Leopard Rise, confirmed her water supply had not been affected. She said: "We were tipped off about the leak, so we filled up a couple of kettles just in case.
"Thankfully we haven't been affected."
