4 puppies looking for their forever homes
We’ve listed the puppies currently available at the centre, all of which are aged between 11 months and one year.
Loki
Gender – Male
Age – 11 months
Breed – Mastiff
Loki is looking for a quiet adult-only home so he has plenty of space to continue to grow his confidence which has improved since being at the centre.
He would benefit from living with another dog as he gets confidence from other dogs. Any pre-existing dog at Loki’s new home would need to mix successfully with him before he’s rehomed.
Loki isn’t sure how to play yet but he’s a quick learner.

Darla
Gender – Female
Age – 1 year
Breed – Italian Corso cross
Darla was found as a stray and she would like to live in a quiet and adult only home where she has a secure garden to play with her favourite toys.
She needs to be the only dog in her new home but could have some walking friends.
As Darla is worried about traffic, she would benefit from living and being walked away from roads where possible.
Due to her size and strength, owners with large breed experience would be ideal for Darla.

How often should you walk your dog in the summer?
Moe
Gender – Male
Age – Around 1 year
Breed – Border Collie
Moe would suit an adult only home with a quiet environment where he can continue his training.
He was found as a stray and was recently returned to the centre as he can be a bit of a handful but the centre explains he “will just be the most amazing dog if given the time, patience and environment he needs to thrive.”
Moe needs a secure garden and a safe space to retreat to indoors.
He could live with another dog if they mix successfully before he’s rehomed.
Moe doesn’t like travelling in a car and traffic is his biggest worry so he’ll need to live away from roads and have access to no-traffic walks.

Zara
Gender – Female
Age – 1 year
Breed – Crossbreed
Find out more about Zara via the Dogs Trust website.
Zara would like to live in an adult only home where she can’t access the front door of the property but a crate could help her with this.

She needs a secure garden and although she can walk with some dogs, she’ll need to be the only one in her new home. She can’t live with cats or small furry animals either.
Zara needs a family who has a keen interest in helping her continue training.
Potential adopters will need to visit the centre to see Zara several times before rehoming her to make sure they’re the right match.
