A COUNTRYSIDE pub in the heart of Worcestershire is reminding customers it is still open after another scheduled road closure.

Customers have been encouraged to visit The Talbot at Knightwick after the pub revealed that one of the roads punters could use to get to the establishment would be closed.

The A44 through Broadwas will be closed overnight until July 27 while Worcestershire County Council carry out roadworks.

The pub claims this is the second closure in the past few weeks after Severn Trent closed another neighbouring road to the pub.

A spokesperson for the pub said it is still open as usual and that the road closures have not yet impacted the business.

"It depends on which way people are coming, and hopefully, drivers can see the signs in place," they said.

The Talbot at Knightwick has been using social media to update its customers on traffic and travel so they are aware of any closures in place and of any diversion routes.
