A TOP-ranked GP practice is "pleased" after being named one of the best in Worcestershire.
Grey Gable Surgery has been named one of the best in Worcestershire after the GP Patient Survey 2024 revealed it has the most satisfied patients.
The independent survey, run by Ipsos on behalf of NHS England, was sent to over two million people across the UK and was designed to reflect how people feel about their GP practice and their level of satisfaction with the experience.
It revealed that Grey Gable Surgery in Inkberrow and Knightwick Surgery on Bromyard Road had been ranked the top surgeries in our area for overall satisfaction with a rating of 95%.
Grey Gable Surgery has raised its score by 5% since 2023.
A spokesperson for Grey Gable Surgery said: “Grey Gable Surgery is very pleased with the result of the latest Patient Survey.
"We are fortunate to have a fantastic team that works incredibly hard to deliver optimal healthcare for our patients. Well done, team!
“We also recognise the support, help and guidance shared between all the practices in Worcestershire and locally within The Vale of Evesham Primary Care Network."
However, the surgery did not take all the limelight, and it was said that every single practice is working hard behind the scenes to ensure they are still pushing forward and meeting local demands.
"No single practice has all the solutions, but every single practice is working hard to meet their local demand," it added.
"Together, in the background, practices draw on a vast amount of knowledge and experience that exists across our Primary Care sector and while largely unseen, a huge amount of work goes on to ensure we are always pushing forward, innovating and improving to meet the growing demand.”
Nationally, 73.9% of patients had a good overall experience of their GP practice, which is a figure many Worcester-based practices had surpassed.
The latest NHS survey comprised around 2.56 million questionnaires sent to patients aged 16 or over registered with GP practices in England from January 2 to March 25, 2024.
Nearly 700,000 patients completed and returned a questionnaire, resulting in a national response rate of 27.3%.
