LEGO enthusiasts of all ages are set to gather at the Severn Valley Railway for the Brick Weekend this summer.

Hosted in collaboration with LEGO UK Railway (LUKR) On August 3 and 4, the displays will be set up in The Engine House at Highley.

The exhibits will feature an interactive haunted mansion and an assortment of railway-themed models.

Amid the ongoing fun, attendees will also have an opportunity to take on the inglenook wagon shunting puzzle – all constructed from Lego bricks.

Chair, Richard Carter-Ulusoy, said: "We're looking forward to the Severn Valley Brick Weekend, which brings together some of the best LEGO railway builders in the UK, who love sharing their intricate designs with the public.

"LUKR are pleased to be able to support the SVR with our displays and activities for LEGO fans of all ages."

Access to The Engine House is included within the travel ticket cost, which extends to both freedom-of-the-line and short journey tickets.

The Brick Weekend event is open between 10.30am to 5pm on both days.

Severn Valley Railway, set to commemorate its 60th anniversary in 2025, welcomes close to 250,000 visitors each year.

It's a treasured attraction in the UK landscape, managed by more than 1,600  volunteers who maintain the railway line.

It boasts a 16-mile journey between Kidderminster in Worcestershire and Bridgnorth in Shropshire, complete with six stations and the engine house visitor centre.
