WEEKS of mixed weather and rain may be behind us after it was revealed that a mini heatwave could be on its way.
Parts of the UK are expected to experience a mini heatwave this weekend and Worcestershire is one of the areas affected.
According to the Met Office, temperatures are expected to rise to 30C in some areas across the county on Friday, including Worcester and Evesham.
Other areas like Droitwich and Malvern will experience temperatures of up to 28C on Friday and very high UV levels.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Further spells of sunshine through Friday, feeling very warm.
"An increasing risk of heavy showers on Saturday, becoming rather humid.
"Drier Sunday and feeling cooler."
