Mr Skelhorn said: "Combining classic video, banging anthems and live music, this concert show is guaranteed to totally twist your melons, as it takes you back to the heights of the indie explosion.

"It’s time to return to the ‘Let’s be Havin’ it 90s’ – with a brand-new concept fronted by Onside Britpop.

"They’re a band that pays huge attention to detail, while resurrecting the unique energy of this amazing time."

The event will also feature archive footage from the 90s, said to "perfectly complement an incredible night of the biggest indie hits of all time".

Popular tunes like Park Life, Sit Down, Don’t Look Back in Anger, Disco 2000 and Step On are among more than 20 songs set to be performed live on stage.

Tickets can be bought from worcesterlive.co.uk or by phoning 01905 611427.

The nostalgic gig is set to take to the Swan Theatre stage on Saturday, July 27.
