A WORCESTER Aldi is closed and a police cordon is in place after a man was seriously injured by a lift.
A large emergency services presence is outside the Aldi in Lowesmoor.
Police said they were dealing with an incident but have since confirmed a man has been seriously injured by a lift.
Eyewitness Steven Collins said a police van has recently left where the front passenger was wearing forensic white suit.

Police and ambulance vehicles are at the scene, with a cordon restricting anyone from entering the store or part of the car park.
Aldi is closed to the public but traffic around the store is normal.
Around four police vans are on the site, along with an ambulance.
An ambulance car left at around 7pm.
The lights in the store are switched off.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services are currently on scene at Aldi on Pheasant Street in Worcester after a man was seriously injured by a lift.
“The store is currently closed and officers are likely to remain on scene into this evening.
“All roads remain open as usual.”
