NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two city centre venues, according to the Food Standards Agency.
Caffe Nero, located at The Shambles in Worcester was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on Thursday, June 20.
Menaki Ramen, which is located on Farrier Street, was given a score of three-out-of-five.
It means that of Worcester's 176 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 137 (78%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
Food hygiene ratings are based on compliance in three key areas, including hygiene, building conditions, and food safety.
