POLICE are to target parking issues after children's safety concerns were expressed during a city school run.
Claines SNT will enforce parking restrictions outside St Georges C of E Primary School on St Georges Lane to ensure children and their guardians can leave school safely.
It comes after the team dropped off two mini policemen and parking restriction posters at the school.
A spokesperson for Claines SNT said: "This morning, we visited St Georges C of E Primary School to deliver two mini police officers and parking restriction posters to remind members of the public to park safely outside of the school.
"We will be enforcing these parking restrictions if they are not being abided by to make sure children and guardians are able to get to and from school safely."
