Fire crews were called to a vehicle fire on the M5 on Monday (July 15) evening.
Two Worcester Station crews from the Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) were called to the fire at 6.41pm, which occurred on the M5 Northbound between junctions 6 and 7.
A spokesperson for HWFRS said: "A small fire in the engine compartment of a vehicle on the hard shoulder had been extinguished before the fire service arrived.
"The vehicle was checked over with a thermal imaging camera, and the incident was marked as pending closure at 7.18pm."
