A Grade II-listed cottage with 'chocolate box appeal' has come onto the market in Worcestershire for £700,000.
Known as the Old Cottage, the property is based on Plough Road in Tibberton village and was originally built in the 17th century.
Worcestershire-based estate agents Nicol & Co have listed the property on the housing market with a guide price of £700,000 and praised the cottage's exterior features.
Nicol & Co's sales manager, Dan Pearce, said: "This is an enchanting cottage nestled within the picturesque village of Tibberton that embodies the quintessential charm of rural living.
"When people talk about a property with ‘chocolate-box appeal’, I think this is precisely what they mean."
The Old Cottage is timber framed, boasting white painted brick and rendered infill.
Mr Pearce said: "The building’s exterior takes your breath away with its dark wooden frames, white painted walls, and upstairs windows which feel like they belong to another age."
The cottage has ample space inside too. Mr Pearce added: "There is a spacious layout inside that boasts three reception rooms, including a kitchen with an impressively beamed ceiling.
"There are four large bedrooms, two bathrooms plus a downstairs toilet in a generous floor space that extends to some 1,800 square foot.
"Each room is enhanced by period features and more recent upgrades throughout have succeeded in adding modern comforts to its traditional charm.
"Outside, the property has an expansive plot with truly stunning front and back gardens, a secure double garage and ample off-road space.
"Located in the heart of Tibberton, the new owners of this tranquil property will be able to enjoy the idyllic pace of village life while still having easy access to local amenities and scenic countryside walks."
Just last month, Nicol & Co was named Residential Estate Agents of the Year in the Innovation & Excellence Awards.
The agency's managing director, Matt Nicol, said: "We aim to lead in embracing change, new ideas, and the latest technology at Nicol & Co, while consistently delivering excellence to our clients."
Since opening in 2009, Nicol & Co now has offices in Droitwich Spa, Worcester, and Malvern.
