A CAR which was causing a nuisance by being parked across a Worcester pavement for weeks has been taken away by police.

Police were made aware of the car, which had been partially parked across a pavement on May Avenue, during their visit to the Hollymount School fete on Wednesday, July 11.

Frustrated residents said the car had been parked on the pavement for several weeks.

Police returned the following day to see the issues it was causing first-hand and to talk to local people about it.

The car has since been taken away by police.
