A Worcester housebuilder has launched its community fund for the fourth year running.

Redrow Midlands has once again opened its £7,500 community fund to support community causes, and is welcoming application for 2024.

The fund, launched in 2021, was set up to assist a variety of organisations, people and causes in the area, and give them the tools to flourish.

The housebuilder has said there is no cause it considers too small, from covering the cost of football kits for youngsters to supporting new charities and animal shelters.

Elaine Cartwright, sales director for the housebuilder, said: "We’re always looking for new ways we can help support thriving communities in the local area.

"Following the success of the community fund over the last three years, we knew we had to bring it back again this year.

"We’re now inviting charities and community groups in the area to share their stories with us and let us know what they need to keep doing their fantastic work – we want to provide support in the most helpful way we can.

"We’re looking forward to hearing how we can help people in Worcester and the surrounding areas."

The community fund is currently open for applications and will close at 11.59pm on Friday, September 27.

Those interested in applying for the grant can find more information at www.redrow.co.uk/midlands-community-fund.

The initiative has been launched while the housebuilder is working on its development at Kensington Gate on Bromyard Road.
