A care home in Droitwich is looking to go green by installing solar panels on its roof.
Rashwood Nursing Home has submitted plans for 119 solar panels to Wychavon District Council.
The home says the panels would generate enough energy to provide about 20 percent of its electrical demand.
“The installation of the panels at the Home will reduce carbon emissions by way of utilising renewable energy,” it says in a planning statement.
Worcestershire Regulatory Services said they had reviewed the application and had “no adverse comments to make”.
