Midland Ladder, a Worcestershire e-commerce retailer established in 1965, has been acquired by a fellow e-commerce specialist.
Overseeing the sale to Deligo was KBS Corporate, working on instructions from Midland Ladder's managing director John Humphreys and financial director Melinda Humphreys.
Deligo, an online supplier of electrical wholesaler accessories, sees this move as a chance to expand its offering.
The transaction was well received – Melinda Humphreys said: "I am hopeful they [Deligo] will put some energy into the company.
"It needs a young, dynamic, fresh outlook with a greater focus on social media."
Oliver Rigby of KBS Corporate, who worked on the deal, said: "I’m extremely satisfied.
"I had a good relationship with our client, and it was nice to see the deal complete."
KBS Corporate's parent company, K3 advised on 336 UK deals in 2023, making it the leading mid-market mergers and acquisitions adviser in the UK.
