Now, TripAdvisor has announced its personal favourites. 

The Travellers' Choice Awards exist to highlight the best-performing venues around the world. Using the quality and quantity of reviews left on their website by visitors, the top 10% of venues are recognised.

In Worcester, twelve attractions have been honoured with a Travellers' Choice Award.

Worcester Cathedral, WR1 2LA

The current building is over 900 years old, but the origins of the Cathedral can be traced back to the seventh century.

Greyfriars' House and Garden, WR1 2LZ

This Tudor-era house has been in the hands of the National Trust since 1966, after narrowly avoiding demolition.

Worcester Woods County Park, WR5 2LG

While the large manor building is only 250 years old, Croome has a rich history throughout the 20th century as RAF Defford.

The Commandery, WR1 2HU

King Charles II commanded his royalist forces during the Battle of Worcester in 1651 from the Commandery which is now a museum dedicated to its history.
