The deputy leader of Worcester City Council says it could be a “delightful” night for the Labour Party.
But Jabba Riaz says that all depends on if the exit polls, which predict a landslide victory for Keir Starmer’s party, are correct.
Speaking at Worcester’s general election count tonight, he said: “If what the exit polls say is going to happen, happens, it is going to be a delightful night for the Labour party - one beyond imagination.

“All of the votes have yet to be counted and the night is still young, but the exit poll gives us comfort.
“Our team, our volunteers, our candidates, our councillors have worked extremely hard over the last year and a half knocking on doors, hearing the concerns of the city and the residents.
“People are yearning for change and I hope they get that tonight.”
