A MAN is in hospital with serious injuries after coming off his motorcycle, in an incident which saw a busy city road shut.
The single-vehicle crash saw the A4538 junction with the Spetchley roundabout close.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to reports of a crash at the junction of the A44 and A4538 near Churchill, Worcester at around 10.10am.
An ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered a motorcyclist had come off his bike.
Five minutes after, West Mercia Police were called to the A4538 junction with the A44 near the Spetchley roundabout to deal with the incident, with the road closed.
The man was treated at the scene for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
He was later taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.
No arrests have been made and the road has now reopened.
