A FIRE broke out in the open.
The fire service was called to Martindale Close yesterday (July 2) evening after a small amount of wood caught fire.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "One crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 9.48pm on July 2 to a fire in the open in Martindale Close, Worcester.
"A small amount of wood was on fire in the open and this was extinguished using two back-pack extinguishers.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended."
