With high streets changing all the time, you might have said goodbye to your favourite restaurants, shops or even nightclubs over the years.
There’s nothing like losing your favourite place especially when there are strong memories attached to it.
Taking a walk down memory lane, we asked Worcester News readers on Facebook which nightclub was their favourite – let’s take a look at the responses.
Best closed nightclubs in Worcester according to locals
The old Tramps nightclub, located on Bank Street was chosen as the best closed nightclub, according to our readers.
It received lots of votes and isn’t to be confused with the new Tramps venue in a new location.
Our Facebook post led to many locals reminiscing about their days in the local nightclubs with some sharing some of those memories.
Among the memories shared were the “sticky” floors often found in nightclubs.
One said: “Tramps (old one) had some fantastic nights back in the day”, adding a blue heart emoji.
Another said: “Tramps, way back in the 80's”.
A third said: “Old tramps, Tuesday night”.
A variety of other nightclubs were mentioned with Images being the second most popular.
One local said: “oh I miss those days!”
Another commented: “IMAGES !!!!!!!!!”

Several other old nightclubs were popular, including Tanya’s, The Pavilion and The Hideaway.
One local said: “Tanya’s St John’s best club in the 80s green laser steakwitch upstairs and just great music”.
They added: “I remember Steve Jones was the DJ there Tony nugent good days”.
Several other nightclubs received mentions, including Chicago’s, Reflex and The Barn.
