A band honouring the music of Joni Mitchell drew in a record crowd for a Worcester jazz club.
Music Spoken Here, in its third year at The Marr's Bar, hosts live jazz, funk, and fusion every other Thursday and occasional Saturdays.
For the first time in the club's history, over 100 patrons from across the West Midlands and Wales attended last Thursday's performance by 'Hejira'.
The band, founded by jazz guitarist Pete Oxley, was first formed for a one-off performance to celebrate Joni Mitchell's 80th birthday.
Now with a repertoire inspired by Mitchell's "Shadows and Light" album, the band features accomplished UK jazz musicians including vocalist Hattie Whitehead.
The two-hour performance included an encore of "A Case of You."
