A WHISKY thief ended up in court after he stole bottles and snacks from a city supermarket - and will get help from the rehab organisation he attacked, breaking the windows.
Justin Wynn of Goldsmith Road in Blackpole, Worcester, stole bottles of Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey from Sainsbury's Blackpole in Windermere Drive.
The 45-year-old appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 25 where he received a community order to include support from Cranstoun - Wynn was in court for breaking the windows there last year.
Wynn admitted theft after he stole two bottles of Jack Daniels Whiskey, crisps and confectionary from Sainsbury's on May 4.
Wynn was handed a community order which will run until June 23 next year and be supervised by Worcester Magistrates Court.
As part of the sentence he will have to complete non-residential drug rehabilitation under direction from Cranstoun.
The defendant will have to provide samples for 12 months. A rehabilitation activity will also form part of the order.
Wynn must comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments (with the responsible officer or someone else nominated by them), or to participate in any activity as required by the responsible officer up to a maximum of 10 days.
He must also pay compensation for the thefts of £120.00.
His guilty pleas was taken into consideration by magistrates when sentencing.

We reported last November how Wynn was jailed for 16 weeks at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on after a court lost patience with his latest anti-social antics.
He was jailed when a suspended sentence for shoplifting ( three offences) was activated after he smashed a window at Cranstoun near Worcester Police Station, Castle Street.
Cranstoun Worcestershire works to support those over 18 who are struggling with their alcohol or drug intake.
We have previously reported on Wynn's persistent shoplifting - including stealing £39.99 of fragrances from TK Maxx in Worcester on November 11 2022 and stealing £63.39 from Home Bargains in Worcester before assaulting the store manager and resisting arrest when police arrived on December 16 2022.
DS Kris Stevens, South Worcestershire Integrated Offender Management, said last year: "We are still trying to work with Justin to identify factors we can improve in his life to prevent his reoffending. He is very much a work in progress. We have invested a lot of time through the Integrated Offender Management team to keep him from reoffending but Justin now needs to make that decision.
"We hope his time in prison will enable him to come around and think he would rather spend his life outside the prison walls. In the meantime, we have protective measures in place. We have got orders around him, including the criminal behaviour order, to protect the communities and shops he is consistently causing harassment to."
