A MAN who caused £700 worth of damage to home security equipment was told to pay £150 compensation.
Hussain Akhtar, of St Paul's Street, Worcester, admitted criminal damage to the Ring doorbell and CCTV camera belonging to Charlie Russell on Wednesday, February 28.
The 42-year-old was given a nine month conditional discharge when he appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday, June 26.
Akhtar will pay back the compensation in instalments of £10 fortnightly.
His early guilty plea was taken into consideration.
