Wildlife filmmaker Gordon Buchanan will be sharing stories of his career at the Forum Theatre in Malvern next year.

The award-winning photographer and filmmaker will embark on his biggest-ever live tour, 'Lions and Tigers and Bears with Gordon Buchanan', in 2025.

Malvern's Forum Theatre will host the event on Tuesday, February 25.

The tour sees Mr Buchanan visiting 35 venues across England, Scotland and Wales.

His new show follows the success of his sold-out 30th anniversary tour in 2023, and will recount his adventures and thrilling encounters with some of the natural world's most intriguing animals.

Tickets go on general sale from 10am on Friday, June 28 and can be purchased from www.gordon-buchanan.co.uk or directly from the venues.

Mr Buchanan said: "Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my!

"It could be a line straight from The Wizard of Oz but there’s no fiction here, just amazing facts as I get the chance to bring to life the amazing adventures I’ve had the absolute privilege to experience.

"Bears and big cats are the undisputed icons of the animal kingdom and I’ve spent a lifetime capturing them on film.

"From pandas in China to orphaned grizzlies in Russia; from high-altitude tigers in the Himalayas to jaguars in the depths of the Amazon; I have been fortunate enough to meet many of these incredible creatures in their natural habitats – and I love being able to share their secrets with audiences.

"There has been mud, sweat and tears, tender moments and terrifying encounters and I can’t wait to meet more animal lovers and tell more tales as I hit the road again."

Born on Scotland's Isle Of Mull, Mr Buchanan started his filmmaking career in 1989.

He worked as an assistant to the world-renowned survival cameraman Nick Gordon, yielding his first experience in the Gola rainforest of Sierra Leone.

His career has seen him work on popular series like Big Cat Diary and the expedition series Lost Land Of The… for the BBC.
