A WOMAN was injured after a fire broke out at a HMO in St John's.
The fire was on the ground floor of a House in Multiple occupancy (HMO) in Arrowsmith Avenue on Thursday, June 25.
The fire service and ambulance service were both called to the incident.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Two crews from Worcester Fire Station were called at 7.12pm on June 25 to a house fire in Arrowsmith Avenue.
"The ground floor of a terraced house, which was used as a house of multiple occupation, was well alight with the fire extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hosereel jets.
"All persons were accounted for but ambulance also attended.
"A reinspection took place at 1am."
A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.16pm to a fire at a private address on Arrowsmith Avenue, Worcester.
"One ambulance attended the scene.
"Upon arrival, we found a woman who had sustained injuries not believed to be serious.
"She received self-care advice from ambulance staff before being discharged at the scene.”
