A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon after an incident in a supermarket car park. 

Police were called to a public disorder incident in Lidl, Ronkswood, at around 7.30pm on Monday, June 24.

Eyewitnesses said there was a large police presence including five police cars, a van and two police dogs. 

A man was arrested on suspicion of affray possession of an offensive weapon and has since been released on bail.

A second man was also arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in police custody.
