ARMED police swarmed a street after a man was caught with a fake gun.
West Mercia Police had swooped into Lancaster Close in Upton yesterday (Sunday) after reports of a person being seen with a gun.
The 19-year-old was found and the gun was not real, according to police.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm and later released without charge.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to Lancaster Close in Upton yesterday following reports that a person had been seen with a gun.
"The suspect was located and the gun was found not to be real.
"A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm and later released without charge."
