WORCESTER woke up to discover a large group of hot air balloons floating through the sky as the city welcomes the start of the balloon festival.
A group of balloons was spotted floating over Warndon Villages in Worcester before 7am this morning after the start of the Worcester Balloon Festival 2024 yesterday.
One resident said: "I'd only just got out of bed and it made for the perfect start to Saturday. It was quite a sight."
Worcester Balloon Festival organisers announced that Friday’s ascent could not go ahead because of high winds.
