A MAN burgled a former Wetherspoons pub and stole a £600 tool.
Dale Roberts, of Brookfarm Drive, Malvern, burgled the former Postal Order in Foregate Street and stole a £600 grinder tool on Thursday, July 20 last year.
The pub has since reopened as a restaurant and bar called Aurora.
The 45-year-old was given a 25-day community order by Worcester Magistrates Court along with a fine of £40.
There was no compensation order as the item was recovered. Roberts does not have to pay court costs.
The Postal Order closed on January 8, 2023.
