A TEENAGER accused of stabbing a man outside a Worcester pub is due to appear before a judge next month.

Doulton Biddle, 18, of Oakley Close in Worcester has been remanded in custody following the alleged stabbing in Warndon in Worcester and will appear at Worcester Crown Court on July 17.

He has been charged with wounding with intent, possession of a knife in a public place, affray and breaching his criminal behaviour order following an incident outside the Prince of Wales pub in Windermere Drive in Warndon, Worcester, on Sunday, June 16.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a patient who had been stabbed on Windermere Drive at 9.31pm on Sunday night, one ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car attended the scene.

"On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was treated for injuries not believed to be serious, before being taken to hospital."

A witness said they saw three police vans and a police car at around 10.30pm and police had left the scene by 11.30pm.

The car park of the Prince of Wales pub was cordoned off by police with the cordon lifted by 9am on Monday.
