Two Worcestershire eateries have been named among the top 100 outdoor restaurants in the UK for 2024, in a new list by OpenTable.
Introducing the list, OpenTable said: “As the weather warms up, it’s time to dine outdoors. To help find the perfect alfresco spot, OpenTable has scanned diner metrics and over 2.2 million reviews to narrow down the restaurants where Brits love dining outdoors.
“The result is our annual Top 100 Restaurants for Outdoor Dining, offering delicious food at alfresco hotspots nationwide. Want to dine out with your furry friend too? The list also highlights outdoor spots that are dog-friendly.”
The two Worcestershire restaurants that are featured on the list are The Ewe and Lamb in Bromsgrove and The Fleece Inn in Bretforton, near Evesham.
Both pubs are dog-friendly so you can enjoy a pint or bite to eat alongside your furry friend.

The Ewe and Lamb has received praise on Tripadvisor with visitors giving it an overall rating of 4/5 from 971 reviews, at the time of writing.
One visitor said: “Well beyond expectations, we were treated to a truly delicious breakfast with highest quality ingredients, prepared with care and plentiful portions. Friendly efficient service and good value”.
Another commented: “Fantastic Sunday lunch great service.Really first class great lunch good service. Beef was just lovely fresh veg. Great service attention to detail second to none.”
The OpenTable website says the following about The Fleece Inn: “Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton.

The Fleece Inn also has a 4/5 rating on Tripadvisor but from 514 reviews, at the time of writing.
A visitor said: “Sunday lunch for 4. Service was very attentive and understanding without being too pushy. Fascinating old building with a large garden. The food was very good and we would go again.”
Another reviewer commented: “We visited the Fleece Inn last week for dinner. The whole experience was first class. Warmly greeted on arrival.
“Prompt service throughout the evening. Our main courses and desserts were first class. All in all a wonderful evening.”
