A DRIVER has ended up in court following an allegation he failed to comply with a motorway lane closure near Worcester.
Andrew Mark Howell was accused of failing to comply with a red/green arrow lane closure signal on the M5 near Worcester when the case was heard at Worcester Magistrates Court on June 5.
Howell, 58, of Johnson Close, Wednesbury, was behind the wheel of a Mercedes when it is said by the prosecution he was captured breaching the regulations by automatic equipment on August 21 last year between junctions 4A and 5 in the southbound carriageway.
The case has been adjourned for a trial at Redditch Magistrates Court on September 9.
