A CYCLIST has been attacked by a gang of teenagers with a 'machete and a hammer' on a canal towpath in Worcester.
Police have today released an appeal about an attack on the canal towpath at Gregory's Mill lock in Worcester at 5.30pm on Friday, May 31.
A man riding his bike was attacked by a group of teenagers with what is believed to be a hammer and a machete.
The man didn’t suffer injuries but was shaken up by the incident.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We’d like to hear from anyone who saw the assault take place or was walking along the canal at the time."
