FIREFIGHTERS have attended a barn fire in a village near Worcester.
Two Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue crews attended the blaze at 6pm yesterday (June 16) evening.
The fire at a farm in Lower Broadheath involved straw and hay that were being stored in a barn.
It took firefighters over four hours to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, said: "Two crews from Worcester Fire Station plus the water carrier from Evesham were called at 6pm on June 16 to an agricultural building fire at a farm in Lower Broadheath.
"The fire involved a small quantity of hay and straw which was well alight in a barn around 30m by 10m.
"The fire was extinguished using two hosereel jets with one firefighter wearing breathing apparatus."
