A Worcestershire social care provider has struck gold with a trifecta of victories at a national social care event.

Endurance Care Worcestershire, which is part of the National Care Group, is celebrating the success of three of its colleagues, who have been named among the group's best at the annual event.

Over 160 industry professionals from across England and Wales gathered at the group's yearly conference, taking part in workshops to enhance their knowledge and attended sector-specific presentations.

The evening culminated in an awards ceremony where the Worcestershire branch, .which is based in Kidderminster, received three coveted awards amidst a whopping 375 nominations across 10 categories.

Kelly Smith, Alvin Mpinyuri, and Dean Davies have been honoured from the Worcestershire team.

Ms Smith, who won the Manager of the Year award, has been celebrated for her hard work and dedication.

Praised by both colleagues and the people supported by the care provider, she is credited with ensuring everyone remains motivated and those under her care live their best lives.

Mr Mpinyuri was named Newcomer of the Year.

Always with a smile on his face, he won the award after clicking with people living at the care service as well as his team almost instantly.

Colleagues describe Mr Mpinyuri as polite, respectful, and always willing to lend a hand.

Mr Davies, who had been out of work for many years due to becoming a single dad to his children with complex needs, emerged as the Rising Star of the Year.

Despite having no previous experience in social care, according to colleagues his enthusiasm for making a difference was instantly evident.

The group supports over 1,300 adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health diagnoses, brain injuries, and complex needs across England and Wales, employing over 2,800 colleagues.

The award nominations were assessed by a panel of judges, including members of the group's executive team and two supported people.
