A SUSPECTED burglar and thief has been named by police after being charged with a string of thefts and break-ins in Worcester and Pershore.
Sam Norman, 36, was charged with a series of offences this morning, including a burglary in Drakes Broughton and another at Norton Parish Hall, following his arrest on Thursday.
He is further charged with a theft from Tesco in St Peter's Drive in Worcester and stealing items from a car in Windermere Drive in Warndon, Worcester.
Officers from South Worcestershire’s Proactive CID located and arrested Norman on Thursday morning. He was charged with the following offences in the early hours of this morning:
- Theft from motor vehicle: Nogains, Pershore on May 29
- House burglary with intent in Shrubbery Road, Drakes Broughton on June 4
- Theft from a motor vehicle in Windermere Drive, Warndon, Worcester on June 5
- Burglary and theft (dwelling) in Walcot Lane, Drakes Broughton on June 7
- Theft of trailer in Besford Bridge, Pershore on June 8
- Theft from Tesco, St Peters Drive, Worcester on June 8
- Burglary with intent (non-dwelling) – Norton Parish Hall, Wadborough Road, Littleworth on June 8
- Possession of cocaine on June 13
Norman has been remanded in police custody to attend Kidderminster Magistrates Court this morning.
