A CITY centre road has closed for filming after it was revealed a popular television show convoy has visited Worcester.
The film crew of Father Brown are in Worcester after pitching up at Pitchcroft on Sunday night.
Worcestershire County Council has revealed that St Oswald's Road in the city centre will be closed today (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday) while filming takes place.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council said: "St Oswald's Road, Worcester, is closed today and tomorrow for location filming."
The popular daytime crime drama Father Brown is about a crime-solving Roman Catholic priest in its 12th season.
It stars Mark Williams, best known as Ron Weasley's father, Arthur, in the Harry Potter series.
The show mainly films in Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire as it is set in the fictional Cotswold village Kembleford, but it has been known to film in The Faithful City.
The Guildhall briefly became the Belvedere Museum for an episode in season three and, more recently, Worcester Cathedral starred as itself in the season eight opener.
Several vans and trucks with 'Movie Makers' on the side, can be seen inside the racecourse track.
Movie Makers provides facility vehicles for film productions when they are on location.
