The West Midlands has been named the best spot for a staycation this summer holidays.
Experts at Outdoor Toys have reviewed numerous factors to name the region as the top spot in the UK.
Components such as the number of amusement parks, water parks, zoos, and aquariums as well as average hotel costs were analysed to determine which area was offering the best experience at reasonable prices.

The West Midlands scored an impressive 8.07 out of 10.
The county boasts the highest number of water and amusement parks, featuring 25 such attractions.
Commendable features such as the National Sea Life Centre, Cadbury World, and Dudley Zoo and Castle additionally enhance the county's appeal.
Taking second place, Kent scored 7.85 out of 10, while Cornwall was third with 7.35 out of 10.
