A 20-metre high mobile phone mast will be built in a layby near Abberley.
Planning permission has been granted for the development, referred to in planning documents as a “monopole”, which will be installed just off the B4202 north of the village.
The mast will contain multiple antennas and various other pieces of communications equipment.
Abberley Parish Council had no objection to the application and county councillor David Chamber said: “I have no comment other than to welcome the new installation.”
Malvern Hills District Council’s tree and landscape officer said from some vantage points, the antenna will be seen alongside Abberley Clock Tower.
