A full list of the candidates hoping to be elected as Worcester’s MP has been announced.
Nominations closed today (Friday, June 7) and Worcester City Council has now published a list of the hopefuls.
It had already been announced that former city council leader Marc Bayliss was the Conservatives’ choice, with Robin Walker having stepped down after 14 years as the city’s MP.

We also knew that Tom Collins would represent Labour, with current Worcester councillors Mel Allcott and Tor Pingree standing for the Lib Dems and Greens respectively.
We now know that Mark Davies will run for election for the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition.
Mr Davies stood in the Dines Green and Groves Farm ward in the recent city council elections.
Andy Peplow is standing for Reform UK in the upcoming general election and Duncan Murray is the choice for the Social Democratic Party.
Martin Potter had completed the nomination process for UKIP but has since withdrawn.
The general election takes place on Thursday, July 4.
