IT has been a busy start for a popular farm shop after it opened a new garden centre branch.
Three Counties Produce had branched out into Webbs Garden Centre in Wychbold and has been extremely busy since its opening in May.
Brothers Rob and James Thompson, who own Three Counties Produce, built a permanent structure outside Webbs to sell fresh produce on-site.
The aim was to provide customers with produce they could not buy in the garden centre.
James Thompson said: "It has been received really well and the weekends are really busy.
"On the weekdays, we have a regular stream of customers and people are enjoying being able to buy fresh produce and fruit."
The two had already supplied the centre's restaurant with produce but decided to collaborate with the business on a bigger project.
The store only provides fresh produce, which is not found inside Webbs' indoor food section, and will look to complement the garden centre's existing amenities.
"We worked together with Webb's and it has turned out really well," Mr Thompson added.
"We are pleased with it and to employ many local people."
The unit has a wooden entrance with some fresh food on the outside and then a small inside area with a till.
It is near the coach's drop off and pick up point in the centre.
Looking to the future, Rob Thompson said if the partnership does well, then the business could branch out into providing fresh produce at the other centres under Webbs' brand.
"It is fantastic to work with Webbs. We already supply the restaurant and this is the next step," he said.
"The team at Webb's are brilliant. They asked us to get involved, and we are excited to get the ball rolling.
"I think this shows the early hours to get fresh produce to our customers have been worthwhile."
